I connected the S-Video output from my VGA card in my laptop to my TV (to watch it on TV). I can see everything on the TV, except the video content of streaming video or DVD. I saw the Windows Media Player window with no video content on it.
I tried Real Media Player, it did the same thing.
Certain website, like YouTube, I can see the video on my TV alright.
It's just weird, I can see the video content on my laptop monitor screen, but not on its S-Video Out.
Is it because of content protection?
Is there a way I can make the video being sent to the S-Video connector?
Thanks.
Why there is no video content displayed on the TV from my VGA's S-Video Output?live com
This is actually the players doing, to stop you from recording the video(what ive heard anyhow). On my pc i have to set my tv as my primary display to see the video. I also found that if i play two files in two players that the video would show up on the second monitor. Dont know if that will help you, good luck.
