For a little over a year now my friends, and I have been making short little videos for the amusement of our other acquaintances. Something that has always troubled me though is how video hosting sites manage the videos I submit. For example, a friend pointed out that if a video becomes successful on Youtube it means Youtube can have the rights to the video itself. If this is true or false I am not sure.
In the end my question technically is, what video hosting site provides the least restrictions or tricks on your work? Which ones don't put somewhere in their Terms %26amp; Agreements that they have full rights to whatever you upload, and instead let you fully keep your video?
I apologize if I ANNOY anyone with my ignorance concerning this subject matter, but if I got anything wrong just let me know because... THE MORE YOU KNOW...

If you copyright, or withhold all rights to your own work, youtube should not have any rights to the movies. I personally think youtube is the best place to start off. Read their user agreements and see if you can dig up any answers. I wish you the best of luck with your hobby.
