Video cameras... what are video heads.. and what to do?

I have a samsung dv video camera.. and when i playback video on the lcd the vision is choppy.



the paper that came with the thing said this could be due to a dirty video head or something...



BUT WHERE IS THE VIDEO HEAD? WHERE IS IT LOCATED? DOES ANYONE KNOW. TELL ME.. DESCRIBE IT TO ME.



and how do you clean it? etc.

Use compassed air in a can get it at walmart or most any electronics store.



should not try to touch any parts could disturb the alignment



if your vido don't improve you should take it to a service center.

You can buy a video head cleaner tape, just pop it in for a few seconds and it cleans the video heads.

I can help you. The heads are the metal wheels inside the tape deck, the place you insert your miniDV tape. You need to buy a miniDV cleaning tape so it can clean the heads. When you get one, (Best Buy or Circuit City) all you have to do is load it in and press play. Let it run for 10 seconds and press stop. You will need to use this cleaning tape if you load in different brands; i.e. -Maxell, Fujifilm, Sony, etc.
