S-Video, Sound...?

I am not recieving sound from my S-Video i correctly connected it, i plug to tv to the dish reciever, and i see the video, yet i do hear the sound, i have hundreds of S-Video Cords, i have a home theathre system, that has S-Video, i have a TV that has S-Video, and my Dish has S-Video, i tried plugging the S-Vid. to my dish from my tv, and then my white audio cord to the tv from the home theatre system, but no sound came out, how do i fix this mess, or what combination should work....any little answer will help

I don't think S-video cable will carry the audio. You need separate cables for audio. Try connecting your home theater to your dish audio out.

You need an AUDIO cable... hense VIDEO - into the matching input layer
S video is just for the video. You need to get a pair of rca cables and connect them where it says audio for the svideo output on your reciever
s video is for the video only. you'll need to run separate wires for the audio.
S-Video is a video cable (yellow) that only transfers video. You need to use a audio cable ( red and white ). Go to best buy they'll help you out.
S Video is only for video so you'll need an audio cable.
