My new VisionTek Video Card wont download?

I just bought a VisionTek 256Mb X1300 DMS59 SFF PCI-e

http://visiontek.com/products/cards/pro_...

The video card I have before I bought the Visiontek video card was an intergrated video card made by VGA i think

I shut my computer down....unhooked it......put the video card in the pci-e slot....then put back together.....and hooked the monitor up to the new video card.....then i went into device manager to disable the intergrated video.....I then put the software that it came with....it started installing and then like 2 minutes later an error message came up saying:

Severe:

Setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup.

How do I get my video card to install? I also tried calling VisionTek....the guy said that the intergrated video card is trying to install by itself....so i also tried uninstalling the intergratedd video card while before i was disableing it.....

please help!

Enter the BIOS of your PC (it should tell you how to do that when you start the PC or by looking in the manual) and disable the on board video card in the BIOS.

After that, start Windows in Safe Mode:

To get into the Windows XP Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

Note: With some computers if you press and hold a key as the computer is booting you will get a stuck key message. If this occurs, instead of pressing and holding the "F8 key", tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu.

Uninstall the old drivers of your on-board card. Install the drivers for your new card and you should be golden.

Let me know if that helped.
